Hello! My name is Amy McKinney, and I teach the confirmation-aged kids with Sherry Dean. I taught this age group last year and really enjoyed it, so I’m back for more! We like to hang out on the bean bags; it gives the smaller ones something to look forward to. :-) I am currently a PhD student at Ohio State in Evolution, Ecology, & Organismal Biology. That’s a mouthful, so just think of me as an ecologist. I study pollination, specifically, how invasive honeysuckle shrubs impact pollination of native plants growing nearby. I will graduate spring or summer 2010- woo hoo! It has been a long journey, and I am so glad to have found Advent along the way. The picture below is me with my husband, Seth, in Prague.
